JESSICA FRIEDER

Co-VP of Business Development

Ross School of Business

As a life-long sports fan and former college athlete, Jess is passionate about the role that sport plays in bringing together diverse backgrounds, cultures and communities as well as within women's leadership development.

Prior to pursuing an MBA at Michigan Ross, Jess spent six years in the sports sponsorship space. She started her career at CSM Sport & Entertainment on their Consulting team (formerly GlideSlope LLC) where she developed sponsorship strategies for global brands partnering with properties such as the Olympics, MLS, and NASCAR. Jess then shifted into an account management/customer success role at GumGum Sports (now called Relo Metrics) working at the intersection of sports, analytics and technology. During her time at GumGum Sports (Relo Metrics), Jess delivered sponsorship data analytics and measurement insights to sports & entertainment properties such as ESPN, NBA, MLB and brands such as Dell Technologies. After Ross, Jess aims to pivot into a role at the intersection of sports and finance where she can be at the forefront of shaping the future of the sports, media & entertainment landscape.
Jess graduated from Dartmouth College in 2015 where she was the goalie on the Women's Lacrosse team and is currently a first-year MBA Candidate at University of Michigan, Ross School of Business.
