2023 Spring Insights Internship @ Elevate


Elevate Sports Ventures is a best-in-class sports, entertainment, and brand agency that provides proven and innovative solutions in hospitality and partnership sales, marketing, data and analytics insights, and brand representation to organizations across the global sports and entertainment landscape. Formed in partnership between the San Francisco 49ers, Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE), Ticketmaster/Live Nation, and Oak View Group (OVG) in 2018, Elevate is spearheading the most prestigious and dynamic stadium projects and events in the world, including the U.S. Formula 1 Grand Prix, the US Open Tennis Championship, U.S. Open Golf Championships, World Cup 2022, and St. Louis City’s Centene Stadium (to name a few).


Elevate Sports Ventures is looking for individuals to join our fast-growing consulting team in the sports and entertainment industry. Individuals will focus on supporting projects for Elevate’s clients focused on enhancing fan experience and operational performance. You will support project objectives and help structure problems, conduct primary and secondary research, conduct business analyses, develop presentations, and support project implementation. This role will cover a range of services across our business, including hospitality design, partnership sales, partnership valuation, and brand representation.

This is a remote position. The role will require the ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.


  • Support ongoing client engagement and projects focused on helping improve revenue streams and fan experience

  • Communicate, develop, and present project updates, fan insights, and recommendations to client project teams, internal stakeholders, and team members

  • Analyze complex, high-volume data sets to identify narrative trends and actionable insights

  • Build high-quality visualizations that illustrate the stories underlying the data we collect

  • Support survey development, execution, and report building, including content development and survey design

  • Perform detailed sports and entertainment industry research, white papers, and case building focused on (but not limited to) teams, venues, competitors, trends, pricing, sponsorship, brand & activations, and more.

  • Build financial models to inform pricing strategy and revenue forecasting

  • Coordinate and develop meeting materials, including calendar invites, note-taking, and meeting debriefs

A. Education and/or Experience

  • Preferred enrollment in a 2-year MBA program but not required

  • Previous sports industry and/or professional experience is a plus but not required

B. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and public-speaking experience

  • Ability to be a self-start and problem solver

  • Ability to multi-task with concurrent projects and prioritize under the pressure of deadlines

  • Strong research skills with the ability to translate data insights into stories

  • Ability to conduct data analysis resulting in high-quality models and presentations

  • Intellectual curiosity, creativity, analytical approach, attention to detail, and results-driven

  • Power user of the MS Office suite, particularly Excel

  • Power user of the Google Drive suite, including Google Slides & Google Sheets

  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools is a plus

  • Experience using Qualtrics or other surveying tools is a plus

  • Prior experience with Data warehouses, SQL, and/or Python is a plus

  • Prior experience using CRM systems (i.e., Salesforce, MS Dynamics) is a plus
