Drive athlete marketing strategy and content creation plans for top global athletes in Road Running and Track & Field.
Work directly with athletes & SPOMA to oversee the content creation and marketing activations including follow-through to the launch of materials to consumers.
Lead the development of athlete integrated marketing plans in partnership with Sport Marketing and local regions.
Work with marketing channels to bring plans to life, owning the connection to sports marketing to convey key timing, dates.
Allow for a combination of pro-active and reactive content plans post competition together with social media team.
Facilitate athlete announcements along with Sports Marketing, PR and Social.
Authentic connection to athlete community and running world (i.e. former athlete or similar)
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
6-8 years’ experience in Marketing role or proven related experience within an international environment
Previous brand marketing experience necessary – at an agency or in-house, previous production experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills
Excellent quantitative and organization skills
Ability to work cross-functionally in a global organization
Strong knowledge of and passion for the sports marketplace
Proven ability to work independently and multi-task in a matrix organization
Travel required up to 30% domestic/international
