The MLB Product and Engineering team is looking for an experienced Product Manager for our Fan Data Platform. This role will be responsible for enhancing the foundational Fan Data Platform that centralizes all MLB Fan Data in one single platform, creates a 360 degree view of the Fan and enables use cases across hundreds of digital and physical touchpoints. This capability plays a pivotal role in a wide variety of use cases in the Baseball industry including Analytics, Data Science, Personalization, Marketing, Servicing as well as Business Intelligence across various lines of businesses. Responsibilities
Lead the Product Management function for core components of MLB’s Fan Data Platform. Focus on centralizing all fan data in one platform, creating new data products and enabling high value use cases across the industry
Evangelize new data driven use cases / products to serve our fans and internal stakeholders at MLB and the Clubs
Work with key stakeholders across the industry to build consensus and roadmaps
Create and manage features, roadmaps, day to day planning activities and rollouts by effectively partnering with stakeholder groups
Effectively support the product design, engineering and QA teams throughout sprint cycles by proactively removing roadblocks
Maintain a strong focus on data quality and governance
Build and manage relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders across the Baseball industry
Keep a pulse across sports and other industries, including best practices and trends. Evangelize new ideas and bring them into the organization
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, supporting Data Platforms / CDPs / Marketing Technologies
Strong problem solving skills. Ability to translate highly unstructured business problems into tangible solutions
Proven experience in owning products / large scale projects through to completion, from requirements gathering through rollout and training
Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as scrum or kanban
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Fortitude to remain calm and react appropriately in high-pressure situations
Self-starter who is energetic & enthusiastic, confident, adaptable & fan-oriented
Highly Qualified Applicants Will Have
A love for Baseball!
Experience in building large scale Data Platforms using cloud based services
Experience with implementing and driving new use cases through CDPs
Technical background along with hands on experience in analyzing large scale data sets with SQL, Python, R, etc

Per the NYC pay transparency law, the hiring range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000.
