Role Title


(Senior) Manager, Strategy & Business Development


The (Senior) Manager, Strategy & Business Development is responsible for supporting the creation and execution of the business strategy for the Las Vegas Grand Prix in 2023 and beyond. The salaried position reports directly to the Chief of Staff and primarily focuses on evaluating and executing business opportunities that directly drive the revenue and financial value of Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc. and Formula 1.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Support development and successful execution of event & business strategy

  • Assist Chief of Staff in decision-making, business execution, and key meetings; connect and partner across Commercial, Operations, and Finance departments in developing department strategies ahead of the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix in 2023 and beyond

  • Identify new business opportunities aligned with the strategy of Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc. and the brand image of Formula 1 and Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc.

  • Own and spearhead special projects under the Chief of Staff’s guidance that require full attention; serve as a subject matter expert, and develop action plans to execute such projects

  • Build and develop relationships with employees of the companies for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help to define new operational strategies

Required Skills

  • Excellent Powerpoint and Excel skills are an absolute must

  • Can-do attitude, willingness to go the extra mile, and focus on execution

  • Attention to detail

  • Financial modeling skills to evaluate commercial opportunities

  • Extensive knowledge of Sports and Formula 1 landscape with proven knowledge around the business of sports and entertainment business

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, sports management or a related field

  • 2-6 years of work experience in finance, consulting, or sports management

  • Previous experience working in the sports industry or live events is a plus

  • U.S. Work Authorization is Required

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and passport and be able to travel as required

  • Must be available to work flexible hours and in person in Las Vegas, NV
