Monarch Collective | Accelerating equity in global sport
Overview: Monarch Collective is a $100M fund with a mission to accelerate equity in global sport. We are focused on investing in women’s sports teams, leagues, and rights-based adjacencies. We believe there is tremendous growth potential for the women’s sports ecosystem. To achieve that growth requires focused capital, high-quality operating talent, and a balance of leveraging existing best practices in sports with creating new operating models to serve female athletes and women’s sports fans.
Location: Los Angeles, Miami, or Remote
Role type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
Research market trends to identify potential investment opportunities
Conduct diligence on potential investments including evaluating market dynamics, team, and financial opportunity
Build investment analysis materials including financial projection models and returns calculations
Assist in presentation materials including investment memos, stakeholder education materials, and limited partner updates
Collaborate with portfolio companies to help with hiring, strategic projects, capital raising, and other needs
Assist in building our operating talent pipeline to support our portfolio companies and the women’s sports ecosystem
Support on back office fund operations as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
3-7+ years of work experience in management consulting, investment banking, sports, investing, or FP&A
Strong financial modeling and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
Passion for women’s sports and advancing gender and racial equity in sports
