As Manager, MiLB Business Operations, you will act as a liaison with internal stakeholders, MiLB clubs and partners to drive business objectives, implement complex projects, and provide exceptional service. An initial focus of this position will be to manage media partners and distribution for MiLB games. This position requires someone who is a self-starter, highly organized, diplomatic, excellent communicators of both business and technology objectives, can multi-task, and work well in a matrixed environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Act as a key point of contact with partners and assist department leaders in managing projects
Manage communication and business goals to internal teams who support media partner projects
Maintain programming schedule for distribution of Minor League Baseball games to various partners
Assist in defining and measuring success metrics, including key business outcomes
Coordinate cross-functional efforts across various MLB teams and perform project management roles as needed
Provides ongoing status updates to share progress, gaps, and support needs to maintain progress against project plans
Communicates in a clear and concise manner
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor’s Degree
One or more of the following:
4+ years working experience in digital media, management consulting, or technology company
3+ year experience in client, account, or partner management
3+ years project management experience
Strong preference toward candidates experienced in broadcast operations, programming, or streaming technology
Keen attention to detail and self-directed; able to turn ambiguity into actionable plans
Ability to build strong business relationships across levels (entry level to C-suite) and functions (business, engineers, etc.), both with partners and within MLB
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to distill complex concepts in simple business terms and speak in front of large groups
Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment with tight and frequently changing timeframes
Experience working with technology products and ability to quickly learn technical concepts
Sports industry experience a plus
Per the NYC pay transparency law, the hiring range for this position is $80,000 to $100,00
