THE POSITION: Our roster has an opening with your name on it

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our growing team delivering projects within the Business Projects Management team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, program/project management, communication and analytical skills; the ability to drive decision making while challenging the status quo; and experience driving large organization programs that have significant impact across the wider organization. They must have excellent attention to detail, be comfortable working independently and with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, often evolving environment with little to no direction, and have a passion for delivering results.

THE GAME PLAN: Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver the most critical projects across the organization (e.g., launching in new states for retail sportsbooks, bringing new products to market & working with our regulatory and compliance teams) within an ambiguous regulatory framework

  • Define project tasks and resource requirements

  • Assemble and coordinate multi-disciplinary, and potentially geographically dispersed, teams

  • Track project milestones and deliverables, and report status updates

  • Identify risks that would prevent the timely delivery of projects and develop solutions to mitigate the risks

  • Provide direction and support to project teams

  • Identify decisions or trade-offs that need to be made to ensure successful delivery of solutions on time

  • Work with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure clear and precise delivery of solutions

  • Work as part of a multi-skilled team (including operations, regulators, product managers)

  • Manage throughput of delivery from third party delivery teams and align those with internal team output where required

  • Coordinate geographically dispersed teams (internationally)

  • Work with both waterfall and agile methodologies to deliver projects

  • Be trusted to use whatever project management tools are appropriate for the situation

THE STATS: What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, strategy, or business operations ideally at a technology, sports, or media company

  • Organized and transparent with regards to plans, milestones, and deliverables

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under minimal supervision at detailed levels while taking account of interdependencies at higher levels

  • Demonstrates a bias for action, can deliver in an agile environment, and has a record of accomplishment of success

  • Good relationship manager and negotiator, able to build agreements with business stakeholders

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and determine priorities

  • Ability to influence others without formal authority

  • Ability to motivate potentially large and diverse teams from across the business and external stakeholders and create effective teams

  • Experience of working with distributed teams

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Passionate about being part of a culture that builds and enables high performing multi-disciplinary teams

PLAYER CONTRACT: We treat our team right

  • From our many opportunities for professional development to our generous insurance and paid leave policies, we’re committed to making sure our employees get as much out of FanDuel as we ask them to give. • Flexible vacation allowance to let you refuel

  • Hall of Fame benefit programs and platforms
